I haven't been on antidepressants in about a year now, but I just started seeing a psychologist again and he ended up prescribing me Cymbalta 60mg. I thought it was a bit strange because no doctor I have ever seen would start at a high dose, but I decided to take it anyway. I took it with a meal, and within an hour, I was very nauseated and a horrifying headache started up. 2 hours later, I vomited multiple times. 4 hours later my head started feeling strange, like I was high and everything was spinning, and I started feeling really sick, like worn down. 8 hours later I started having these weird pulling pains in my side, around my middle abdomen. It started getting so uncomfortable that I could barely fall asleep/stay asleep. Today I woke up and it is pretty painful at this point and the nausea is very bad as well. I don't want to sound paranoid, but I'm worried it's my kidney. I'm not very healthy because I have a chronic health condition already trying to take out a few of my other organs and I'm very small as well (5 feet tall, 90lbs). I've taken Cymbalta in the past and never had this reaction and I probably will end up going to the doctor because I'm worried, but I want to know if there's a chance it may not be anything too serious? Maybe just dehydration..?
