Since they don't have iron can I take iron pills on the side?

Iron is in most foods we eat (meat, beans, green leafy vegetables, breads/pastas). As long as you are eating iron rich foods a few times a week you do not need to supplement. I use these vitamins as well ;-)

Yes you should be still getting iron. I switched to an easy swallow pill when I realized the gummies don't have iron.

I take them, but the Target brand.  The iron in other vitamins was wrecking havoc w/ my system.  My Dr. Said they have everything you need & are fine, unless you are low in iron.

I take them. 2 every day like it says on the bottle. I haven't taken them in a week cause I can't chew on them with a missing tooth. They're safe though.

I was taking prenatal with iron and was having horriable upset stomachs. My doctor told me I did not need to worry about iron while ttc however would need to switch once we do get pregnant.

I take these too, but the generic version. I see a high risk OB and these are what she recommended!

Personally, I wouldn't take anything without a prescription. Your doctor will gladly give you one for iron. The stuff over the counter is not always filled with what it says because it is not regulated by the FDA. After suffering infertility for so many years and finally conceiving, I take no chances.
