CT SCAN

Quick question… I got a CT scan today on my neck. At first I thought it was just a swollen lymph node. Went to the EMERGENCY ROOM and she checked my face etc— she advised a CT SCAN. The CT SCAN results showed my parotid gland swollen with overlying soft tissue. The scan didn’t show any tumors or mass… they prescribed me Amoxicillin & Clavulanate potassium tablets. I know i have health anxiety and ive diagnosed myself with lymphoma even though she reassured me there were no mass or tumors… Would a CT SCAN Be able to pick up on anything cancerous???? please don’t be too harsh on me, this is my first time going through this so I’m just a bit worried.
