Let toddler play in ball pit two weeks before big move?

We also have a baby at home and are moving without any help and if my toddler gets sick we won't make it.. grandparents want to take her to an indoor playground with huge ball pit. But we told them no because we are afraid she will get sick right before the move!! We are so stressed right now having a sick toddler and possibly a sick baby would be hell. Are we crazy?! She's never been in a ball pit before and has been fairly sheltered germ wise..

I feel like ball pits are the grossest of gross even before covid..  if your child is already at the indoor playground then they likely have already touched every germy thing there, not sure avoiding the ball pit will help much, how do they go about disinfecting and sanitizing the playground? Idk 🤷🏼‍♀️ good luck with your move

Honestly, those things give me the ick. We will avoid them for as long as possible

I’m torn, pre-Covid I’d say go for it but now with Covid, my perspective is skewed. I’m no longer super worried about Covid, I’m starting to accept it as a new reality but now I think differently. If you’re not moving too far away I’d ask they just wait until you’re settled and explain why. Maybe even schedule a day for it to happen.
