High HCG worried!!

Hi everyone!

1. Context: I miscarried in January 2022 at 11 weeks and we found out the baby had Down syndrome.

My DPO level for that pregnancy at 17 DPO was 429 which was within range.

2. New pregnancy! We are so happy!

I had my first HCG test at 17 DPO and the results are now 1,871, more than 4 times what we got with previous pregnancy.

3. Got a new HCG at 22 DPO and now the result is 12,538.

I was surprised to learn that high HCG can be related to Down syndrome or ectopic pregnancy and we are getting a bit worried now that there is an issue with this pregnancy too.

Did you have any experience with high HCG like mine at 17 DPO and 22 DPO ? How did the pregnancy went on?
