Is there any truth to babies coming early on a fool moon????

Truth! In some climates, at least. I was with the rescue squad in our area for 7 years, and worked as an EMT, and can't even count how many conversations we ever had about this - it came up all the time! And it is true, whether or not you believe it; full moons, especially on stormy nights, bring on plenty of calls for unexpected labor. We learned to expect it! So take that for anecdotal, but there are plenty of analysis studies out there that say the same thing. :)

I'm a doula and midwifery student and babies do like to come on full moons. We stay busier! It's due to the change in pressure. It doesn't MEAN someone will go into labor but it can definitely help a mama out of her body is ready.

Didn't work in L&D but worked in an OBGYN for 3 years and saw no change in women or anything due to full moon and any doctor will tell you that. People assume it makes people crazy and whatever but nothing scientific proves that. Now I work on a med surg floor and see no change in patients when it's a full moon or not. Everyone is crazy lol

I suppose it's probably a myth but talk to someone who works in a hospital and they'll tell you the crazies and babies are more plentiful on full moon and even the whole week of a full moon
