My baby had a seizure 😭😭😭

My son just had his first seizure from a fever last night. Me and my husband were freaking out and called the ambulance. My thermometer read wrong and it was a brand new one so I’m pretty pissed about that seeming how I could have prevented all this if it would have just read the right temp!! It told me 98.7 so I added a degree since it was under his arm.

But at the same time I’m pretty sure the fever got worse within an hours time, never ever falling asleep again when one of my kids have a fever and thank God his little sister woke me up. My heart absolutely breaks with his face keeps popping in my head, he couldn’t cry or ask for help. I’m gonna need some typa device to track his vitals or something. I thought I lost my baby y’all 😭😭😭😭😭

And I feel bad bc I was trying to find my shoes and stuff and couldn’t find shit so I just ran out the door in winter boots bc I couldn’t find flip flops, short ass shorts and a tank top.

His daddy feels even worse because he was an emt and everything he learned he completely forgot. I told him that happens to people and kids your close to and it’s normal. It’s shock.

I’m never running out of Tylenol and Motrin again.

I can’t get his sweet little face out my head of how he looked when I woke up and saw him. Thank god he was sleeping with us.
