Update on my situation

I went for blood tests this morning and had my results:

On Monday they told me to expect the worse because the hcg levels have only increased 24% (from 1600-2052) and told me to come in 48hours later which was this morning to have more bloods.

They said they have continued to increase but not doubled. They said they have gone up 48% which is a lot more than what they did on Monday. So it’s gone from from 2052-2900. Still not great but an improvement.

They were concerned it was ectopic so I had to go back in to talk to them. They gave me a choice then… I was to either have methotrexate to stop the pregnancy but I wasn’t to try for a baby for 3 months and to go on contraception to prevent this (contraception isn’t an option as it doesn’t agree with me) or to wait a week and have a scan to see what’s going on if I haven’t already had a miscarriage during the week wait.

They aren’t sure whether this pregnancy would be ok or whether it lll end. They said it’s a high chance that it’ll end in miscarriage or the injection but there is a slim chance it’ll be ok.

I’ve made the decision to wait a week and have another scan… I want it to be 100% evidence that it will not continue before I have methotrexate (if I don’t miss carry this week) I don’t want to have it now and start thinking “what if” at least I’ll know for sure. I haven’t had any pain and I haven’t bled at all. No discharge nothing. Symptoms are still the same sickness, fatigue and sore boobs. Do you guys think I made the right decision??
