Anyone on prescribed Adderall & became pregnant?

I stopped the last two months of TTC and cannot stop taking my Adderall any longer. I’m back to taking it again. I take my morning dose. But, I’m going to skip my midday dose. (I normally would take both doses most days)

It would be best to coordinate this with your prescribing doctor and your OBGYN or midwife. They can better advise you on whether you should taper down off of your medication, reduce your dose, or change medications.

two of my friends were both on it. one of them stopped and had a healthy pregnancy, baby, and delivery. the other did not and had a healthy baby, but was not healthy herself. shes almost a year pp and is still in and out of the hospital and will have to have a heart transplant when they find her a heart. the adderall, and stress on her body from having a baby really did damage on her heart and she’s incredibly lucky she even lived through labor! she cannot have anymore kids, and she’s also lucky her baby didn’t have any birth defects from her adderall. i would just quit as soon as you find out, but honestly it may be easier to spot now and slowly take yourself off. do your normal dose, then half, then a quarter then none over a few week span and see how that goes?
