MIL did WHAT?

Hey ladies i might seem crazy but today my MIL held my 6 month old upside down by his ankles multiple times. Its giving me severe anxiety. I did ask her to stop. Is this ok or should i be concerned about his brain?

I was definitely flipping my daughter upside down at 6m. She loved it.
If it makes you uncomfortable, ask her not to do it. “I know it’s probably not going to hurt them but could you not do that please? It makes me nervous.”

It doesn’t matter what anyone else says, if it makes you uncomfortable then speak up and let her know that, but you already did so that’s good. I’m sure the baby will be fine but personally it’s not something I would do with my baby that young too many times or even at all.

I do it my my kid if he was t crying then he is okay see as someone tossing the baby in the air some babies like it some don't

It depends how rough shes being etc. My daughter loved going upside down(i always had firm hold on her head neck and butt when ied flip her over. Never by the ankles at that age) if shes being easy and slow and careful she wont hurt him. But if shes being rough and jerking him etc. She could and i would take him away from her until she learns to be easy

Sounds like it is usually thing dads do and moms look horrified next to it.
But for sure, if you feel it is uncomfortable etc, tel your MIL to stop.

He's six months old... he's fine. As long as she's not jerking his head all of over the place. Every 6+ month old I've been around (which is alot) loves it. They aren't that fragile!
