4 month old with a cold ?

Is there anything I can do? My baby has a cold. I took him to the hospital and he’s just been having Tylenol he has a bad cough. I feel so helpless.

There is plenty you can do. Humidifier, saline spray, keeping them upright and patting their back pretty solidly. Boogie brand has a saline inhaler that works amazing because they can breath it in. Nose frieda is amazing too. The patting helps to break up the mucus in their lungs. Tylenol or ibuprofen helps with the inflammation.

Babies get sick, it's okay! It isnt an emergency unless they have fewer than 4 pee diapers per day, fever is 104 and wont go down with meds or tempered bath, they act very lethargic not just tired, or their breathing sounds like a gasp or seal. Otherwise, just keep them and comfy as possible...warm baths, snuggles etc, and it will pass.
