When do we get our sleep back

Wondering at what age we can get a full nights sleep again? Our newborn is one week old.

In my case with my daughter.... Age 2 😂. She didn't sleep through the night until her second birthday. It was tough. Now at almost 3.5 she will have one night even few months where she doesn't sleep well. All babies/kids are different so yours might sleep through the night earlier. However, for the first 3-6 months I wouldn't count on too much sleep. It's challenging. If you have a good support system ask for help. Even if someone can stop by for a couple hours to get some extra sleep. I found the sleep deprivation was the hardest to deal with. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask. It really does take a village to raise children and it saddens me that we have lost that on a society level (in a general sense).

I Hve a 4 yr old and a 1 week old and I can't remember the answer. I know it's not 7 days lol. Hope it comes sooner than later for you. I got up only 3 times last night and felt it was fair enough

Just forget about it, at least for the first few months 😂🤣😅😓 baby needs you as near as possible to comfort and feed around the clock 🥰 hang in there mama 💪stay strong and ask for help to your partner/family/friends if you need ❤️💕
