Baby aspirin TTC

So I have MTHFR gene mutation and originally I went to one MFM doctor that my gyno referred me to and he told me to take baby aspirin everyday since I’m TTC. I just got pregnant and went to my first appointment with my OB (unfortunately had a chemical) and my OB said that taking baby aspirin for MTHFR is old practice and does not actually do anything for you-he said I don’t need it and that so much of the population has that gene mutation without any complications with pregnancy. Now I’m not sure if I should continue taking it or not.
