Period or Implantation?

I’ve had sex with my partner a handful of times. No protection or pull out method. I woke up this morning and when I wiped there was a very light pink or red on the toilet paper. I was wondering if this could be my period starting or implantation bleeding. I’ve had mild cramps and that’s about it. I want to take a pregnancy test but this came 3 days late of my period. I want to call it a period and pop some ibuprofen, but I want to be sure I’m not pregnant as well. What you guys think?
