The iud is out!!!

Ti

Today was not as exciting as I had hoped it would be with getting my iud removed. The doc did a breast exam and both breasts had a lot of lumps. At that point I was extremely concerned and completely forgot to ask all of my questions I wanted to ask about TTC again. But he sent me over to Breast Imaging (same building but another room nearby down the hall), they set me up with a mammogram. This was my first, and leme tell you, I thought they were trying to cook pancakes for breakfast with my boobs!!! If you've had one, you'd get the joke 😅. Anyway, we finished, then I had to do it again. Finished. Then I get sent to do an ultrasound on my breasts as well. 1 hour and 30 minutes of boob handling yall. I have had 5 people grope my boobs in that span of time. So, I also suffer from GAD and I didnt take my pill this morning because it was during my appointment, I was driving and on ocassion it can make me a little dizzy. So the entire time of this process I am freaking out inside thinking the worst. The final doctor came in and looked over and said all of them were normal but one in my left will have to checked in 6 months. My great aunt had breast cancer, her daughter had it and my other great aunt died from it. My mom has fibrocystic breasts as well and she took the genetic testing to which she does NOT carry the breast cancer gene. So if either of us do get it, its just by chance and not through genetics. It was very very, very very scary. I came home and balled my eyes out. I feel for any of you women who have gone or go through this. Funny the things you learn after the fact though. I did not not that breast cysts were so common. So i have cysty boobies AND cysty ovaries. Anyways, just gotta wait for this period to end and then the start to TTC finally!!!! (Literally waited a month for this appointment)
