Herpes

I am asymptomatic and had sex with my partner. I told him prior to us doing it and he stated he was okay with it. Now he’s stating he had a tingly feeling down there after the second time we had sex. I’m sensing he got it but my question is .. just cause he has a tingly sensation does that mean he will experience an outbreak?

Yes. 90% chance of him getting it if you two are having unprotected sex. Condoms are a must unless you two plan on being together forever or else every time you two move to new partners you will keep spreading it, if not using condoms and dental dams for everything sexually. And tingling feeling is one sign that something is coming. He should wait a week or two and go get tested. I wish you both all the best. Sending positive vibes!! 💛✨️

Condoms don't keep you 100% safe and it's a lower risks of transmitting it from female to male from what I've been told and an even lower risk if taking medications daily. A tingling feeling is usually a sign of an outbreak getting ready to occur but not everybody who has a tingling feeling actually gets out breaks. Everybody's body is different and the tingling feeling may be the only symptom that they get if they actually even do end up actually having it. Outbreak or not if he really wants to know if he has it, his best bet is to go and get tested. Igg blood test is usually pretty more accurate over igm blood test and swab.
