Ultrasound Letdown

// I had my first ultrasound yesterday and I can't help but feel a little disappointed. The image does not look like a baby at all. Don't get me wrong, I feel super blessed to be pregnant and have a baby who is reportedly growing at the correct rate. We even heard the heartbeat which was such a joyous moment. My husband and I held hands. I cried some quality tears of joy.

// But we never saw a clear image of baby. I've seen so many ultrasounds. I was hoping to see at least a shape. I'm a FTM. I didn't think to expect this. I feel guilty for being disappointed. Has anyone else experienced this?
