This is pretty typical and why most OBs won’t do a scan before an estimated 7/8 weeks of gestation.

It is possible you ovulated later than you thought. With this pregnancy, I had my first ultrasound at 5w2d and we saw the yolk sac and gestational sac. My dates are certain though because we did ivf.
