Hi ladies.

Just had my second son 7 days ago. We've been home for 2 days now. Jerome doesn't seem jealous. Not once has he fought for my attention. BUT! He is ignoring baby for the most part. He does mention baby is crying, eating my breast or sleeping. He won't touch baby unless asked, he won't even mention baby even when asked. He has once or twice mentioned baby as part of family and in a prayer but that is pretty much it. Am not forcing anything. I try to hug him. Obviously still in lots of pain from my csection so we ain't cuddling like we used to. He definitely can feel the difference with mummy. What do I do so he stops acting indifferent towards the baby? I try to involve him but he seems to want to keep away all together. When am carrying the baby, he doesn't bother me, unless if he is extremely sad then he will come for a hug but still look at the baby in the way. Am I failing to read some signs? Is this his way of showing sibling rivalry?
