Interesting thought here but hear me out …

I’m married with a one year old. Because we aren’t ready for a second kid, I started a birth control pill on June 20th. 10 days later I have my first ever herpes outbreak (didn’t even know I ever had it). After a trip to gyno, she says yep it’s herpes, take valtrex and it’ll go away but don’t stress, it’ll make you have more outbreaks. We’ll now I’m home googling how this could of happened since I’ve never even had a cold sore and bam, internet says hormone changes trigger outbreaks …

Curious if anyone else has seen an increase in outbreaks when on birth control?!
