Our poor baby was so colicky after hitting about the three week mark. We brought it up with his pediatrician at his one month appointment and he was prescribed and antacid because the doctor suggested reflux could be the culprit for his colicky behavior. The pediatrician told me, "You'll know in less than a week if its helping him or not." Just within a couple days he was so much happier. It hurts me to realize he was just in pain this whole time :( He will still spit-up himself awake here and there but overall he is way less colicky! If you feel like your baby is spitting up a lot, either in volume or just very often, and has all the signs of colic, I would definitely suggest considering reflux. Sometimes reflux can look like colic and sometimes a baby can have both at the same time (which is our case), but treating the reflux can seriously make a huge difference!
