So, I found out that I had a mmc on 5/31. D&C was performed on June 3. I bled for about a week and then stopped. About 2 weeks ago, I had some brown spotting that lasted less than an hour and only when I wiped. i had been taking hpt to see when I might test negative. My lines kept getting lighter, then I had one that was a little darker so I wasn’t sure what was going on. I made an appt with my ob and he saw me 2 days ago. My urine still showed positive and they did blood work and HCG was at 49. He did a pelvic exam and after I started bleeding. It was brown at first and then red. I thought maybe it was my period and surely I would be at or close to 0. I went back today for a recheck and I don’t have lab results yet but ultrasound didn’t show any retained product however my urine is still testing positive for pregnancy. Any idea of what could be going on? Also, my progesterone was only at 2 so he’s not leaning toward new pregnancy based on that alone. Thanks in advance ladies!
