Any teachers?

Question

Just wondering if there are any other elementary teachers out there who are loving the adorable comments from your kids? 
"Did you have your baby yet?"
"When we are gone for Christmas will you have your baby?"
"Are you gonna bring the baby to school?"
And my favorite... A sweet first grader passed by me, put her hand on my belly, leaned in closely (as if to say something secretive) and said "hope that baby comes out right!"

I teach sped middle school and high school (I travel - half day at one and half day at the other.) I love my high school kids 😂
"Mrs G, are you sure you're 5 months? You don't even look like it. Mrs C is huge and she's 5 months. Man you're hiding the baby somewhere in there."
"When's the baby coming again? Oh that's soon. Who is going to be our sub? I don't want you to leave!"

While my middle school kids?
"MAN YOURE FAT!" 😂

I'm a pediatric speech pathologist. One child said "you had a big lunch!!" And I said no, he said "you have a tummy ache! You ate too much lunch!" 😂😂 I told him there was a baby in there so he always puts his hands on my tummy and says "hi baby!" When he greets me.

I teach middle. They're going through sex Ed right now if they have the health class instead of band. There's a lot of "I know which trimester you're in!" And "babies sound really gross, no offense." It's pretty funny. My kid with Asbergers when I told the class: "good, cuz I just thought you were fat," to which I responded "Sometimes I'm fat too." He liked that response.

I teach 1st and 2nd grade. They are constantly asking about the baby, when baby will be born, the gender, and offered baby names. I have a few students who are afraid I'm not coming back after winter break. I'm not due until April so I have some time. The one question I'm always avoiding is will it hurt when baby is born/how will the baby be born.

My first grader - Mrs p are you having a baby? Yes. He then proceeds to tell three kids at his table (one at a time) Mrs P is having a baby!!!

My 5th graders - what size fruit is Jaxson this week?  Will you bring him to visit?  Are you drinking enough water and eating organic? When one asked me when he was arriving a girl answered "when her water breaks"

A kinder girl who sees me at the gate every morning - how's the baby doing?

I haven't told my kids yet. I'm 23 weeks and have just barely started to show within the last few days, so I will probably tell them shortly after break. I'm trying to hold out as long as I can! I know they'll be really excited and have a million questions for me!

I teach first grade! There's never a dull moment! I've heard all the ones you posted, but another favorite is "your stomach is getting bigger." Haha. They are in for a shock after our 2 week break, as I'm sure I'll be much bigger! :)

I am an elementary school teacher but have decided not to tell my kids until I absolutely have to. Lucky for me they are pretty u observant! Your little ones sound cute though!
