Today I attended the EPU and had an early scan due to experiencing cramping, left side pain and lower back ache.

The internal scan showed a sac with a yolk and a very small fetal pole however there wasn't a heartbeat. My last period was 30th May meaning I would be 6+1 however I was told the measurements are less than 6 weeks.

Should I be worried?

I am going back a week today for another scan but one of the nurses did speak to me asif she was preparing me for the worst and that it could be a silent miscarriage.
