Sensitive teeth

My teeth have become so sensitive ever since I have started using sensodyne (I think that's how you spell it lol) toothpaste . Everytime I try to drink cold soda or cold water my teeth hurt and are just so sensitive.! What can I do to stop this? If anyone has any info please leave a comment.
