Last Wednesday I had to have emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. I didn’t even know I was pregnant! It was bad. Don’t ignore pelvic pain ladies. It was unbearable on Monday, but I was stubborn and didn’t go in to the ER until Wednesday because I thought it would pass. I could have died. If I had caught it sooner I might have been able to just take a pill instead of surgery. That wasn’t an option because my abdomen was filling with blood by the time I went to get help.

Okay, so…..

Everything I’ve read so far says to wait 6 weeks to have sex again. That makes sense. But what about just having an the big O? Is touching myself to get off okay? Has anyone else been in this situation and do you have any advice to offer? How long did it take you to heal? When did you start having sex again? Did having an orgasm effect anything negatively?
