When did you post your registry?

Hey y’all. This excited overly excited mama has already finished both her Amazon and target registries. I just don’t know the “right” time to go public with them. When are y’all announcing your registries?

I never publicly announced my registry. Personally I feel like it’s a bit strange to post it on fb or something like that but hats just me! I shared it with the baby shower invitations and that was it.

Post? Never. It’s included on the baby shower invites sent the friends and family who are invited to the shower. The invites went out in the mail during my 6th month

Okay Karen’s, I was going to make a private post on Facebook for friends and family out of state that won’t be making it to the baby shower. Definitely not just begging anyone for gifts 🙄🫠

I’m not sure what you mean by “announce”. I never announced mine on social media or anything.. I’ve never heard of that before. My MIL asked for it really soon, like 3-4 months and the rest of our families asked for the links around 7-8 months.

Never. If someone asked for my registry, I was willing to share. Definitely never posted it.

I never posted. If anyone asked me privately, I have sent it. If they are invited to my shower, then they have the link.

I personally do not announce anything until I send out invitations, when my baby is 5 months old, for his/her baby shower/half birthday (1/2). In the invitations I include my registry details. 
But I have been invited to many baby showers and that is always the first and only time I see details of the registry. No one has ever provided me with registry announcement or details, outside of including it with their invitations, unless I specifically asked if they had a registry and to provide me with the details. 
I love planning parties and have done so many in the past. Whenever I plan a baby shower. I always pick the date closest the weekend after the Mom-to-Be is 32 weeks. But I mail out the invitations either by mail or email to everyone when the Mom-to-Be is 24 weeks, so that all the guest have 2 months to save the date and shop off the registry for the baby. And by having the shower when the Mom-to-Be is 32 weeks, that gives her 6-8 weeks of nesting for the baby at home. 
I think by 20 weeks pregnant is a good time to start putting a registry together. In your case it is already done. And that's great! I definitely understand the excitement and joy! ❤️🍼 I would consider sharing it at 24 weeks. And start planning a baby shower. Share the news with or without a baby shower invitation; completely up to you. But I think once a woman is more than half way through her pregnancy, it is a good time to share one, with whomever you desire.
