I’m in the Air Force crosstraining to 4N0X1 soon. Was Active Duty but currently National Guard. Looking to get some insight from other prior service who have returned to tech school or crosstrained into the same AFSC. Were you required to stay on base or were you allowed to stay off base if the place was within the budget? Were you authorized a rental car during your time there? I’ve gotten a flat out NO from one person and informed by another that it’s possible depending on my order instructions.
