Husband cheating?

My husband’s deployed (non-combat zone), and this is what he sends me this morning. He’s done something like this before a week or so ago (while still deployed), and it sounded just as strange. Is this a sign of a spouse preparing to tell their wife they’ve cheated? I’m scared.

Kind of sounds like it. What the person said below, several men cheat on their spouses during deployment but there is no excuse. If you can't go 3, 6, 9 months without fucking someone else then they aren't ready to fully commit. Being away gives no excuse to do dirty things because "no one" will find out. There are toys￼, hands, Phone sex etc. I've told my husband if I find out he has cheated during a deployment (combat or not) he will come home to an empty house, no if ands or buts.

I mean it could be that, I'm hoping it's not but I do know it's very common in the military especially when spouses are having to be separate so much. Even when they're sent away they feel as lonely as the spouse being left behind and unfortunately the military does not help with mental health as much as they should so soldiers go out and find it with the locals or with each other. It's filling a void even though it's the wrong way and they're thinking processes don't stay very logical a lot. I'm not saying I justify it cuz I'd most definitely don't, but I think if somebody's got a marriage that they truly loved and want to save that it's worth getting the help to save it. Granted there's just some that do it just cuz and it's just cold and those are not the ones that are worth the time because it's just going to happen over and over again. And his verbage it makes me worry that maybe he's gotten sick or something as well is what I read into it as a second option or that there's something dangerous about his area and he just wants to make sure he shows that he loves you and wishes he was better for you. I would be curious to hear what your phone call ends up being
