Am I pregnant or period spotting?

I was due for my period today and two days ago I began spotting. After I spotted I have not bled, only been spotting but VERY slightly. I even took off my pad because it was very unnecessary. Has anyone ever spotted and then turned out to be pregnant?
P.s. will be testing if I don’t get my period within the next few days.

You could just test tomorow with fmu and have a clear answer. Spotting can absolutely happen in early pregnancy and blood is blood. No way to tell until you test.
