Pregnancy scare

had my last period on the 22nd of last month, lasted until the 26th. I had sex after that, and i’m very safe, i used a condom and sometimes we didn’t finish. On the times we did finish though, i always took it off him , and checked for holes and there never was any. This was on the week of ovulation and the week after. So there was no way sperm was inside me.

I’m now one day late on my period and about a week ago, i had some reddish brownish stuff that came out with my discharge, it was like slime consistency. I’ve had no other symptoms of pregnancy as i gathered it was spotting before my period, and implantation is a light pink and it’s blood, not discharge. I had light cramping a few days ago too. I took a test 2 nights ago and it came back negative. But maybe i tested too early? It was clear blue rapid detection and it claims to detect 5 days before a missed period at i tested 2 days before this period days. Yesterday(20th)

Thinking about it, there’s no way I could be based upon how safe i am, but it’s worrying as I don’t feel any symptoms rn, and my period is a day late.

Does anyone have any advice?
