Mucus plug??

Question

I am 39 weeks and 6 days and I just had a my cervix checked today and I am 1 cm dilated the doctor also did a membrane sweep when I went to go pee I clean myself and this came out. Is this my mucus plug?? Also can I go into labor any hour now?

Might be a bit of it. Definitely not all of it. And even if it was, it doesn't mean labor is coming..
Contractions is the thing you can count on for knowing if you're in labor - and even does can at times be tricky.

I had the same thing after a membrane sweep but my doctor said I would probably have spotting! I had my membrane sweep at about 10am and went into labor in the middle of the night around 2:30am.

It's probably a piece of it mixed with spotting from the membrane sweep

Looks like a bit of mucous and spotting which is normal after a check and definitely a sweep

Mine came out for the better part of two days before I went into labor. But it was the contractions that let me know I was in labor, not losing the mucus plug.
