Asking hubby to take off work?

I have an appointment tomorrow for 36 weeks I’ll be getting checked to see if I’ve progressed from last week, I’ve been in early labor over a week now. I haven’t been feeling good with bad acid reflux causing bad heart burn. I feel selfish for wanting to but I really want to ask my husband to call in so he can come with me….. my mom is watching my toddler & was going to take me tomorrow but I really just want my husband there…. With everything that’s happened trying to conceive this baby, how tough my pregnancy has been & where things are now I’m just struggling so much emotionally & I don’t know what to do…
