37 weeks and 3 days 2nd baby.

So question for momma’s! Second timer here but I got induced right at 40 weeks with my first due to it being the beginning of the covid pandemic so they gave us the option which I was ok to take at that time.

I went to my doctor’s appointment today and I’ve lost a couple pounds and I’ve been having on and off contractions. I also had my first in 13 minutes so they’re thinking this one will be super quick.

Anyway she checks me and I’m at 3/4 cm dilated 80/90% effaced and she’s at 0/+1 station. My first was always the same with the exception is I wasn’t really dilating. I’ve had friends that sat at 4 cm dilated until they had their babies between 39-40 weeks. But I’m still randomly having some really big contractions and feeling so heavy down there. Has anyone else had this happen and still hold on for a couple more weeks before having their baby?
