Potty Trained Kids…. Are they staying dry during nap?

If they are dry, how long did it take for them to catch on?? Just not sure what to maybe expect with my LO… We just stared potty training this week (and it’s going great!) but he will not be able to wear a pull-up at all when school starts in 3weeks 🙃🙃

My son goes potty right before nap and naps only 1-2.5 hours so no accidents in bed. He rarely peed his diaper at night so now he sleeps without diaper during night for 3 weeks and had accident only once when he drunk lots of water before bed.

He was waking up dry before we started potty training. It was one of the signs to start for us

My daughter stopped napping consistently in December and we potty trained in January. On the rare occasion she naps, I just have to make sure I catch her right when she wakes up to go to the potty otherwise she sometimes has an accident - but generally she wakes up dry. We still do a diaper overnight but as long as I remember to have her go before bed, she normally wakes up with a dry diaper
