Hi Everyone,

I found out yesterday I am having a miscarriage at 6 weeks. A lot of my husband and I’s family knew that I was already pregnant due to having such large immediate family members, and of course word spreads even though you tell them to keep it secret for a while.

I have a 2 year old son and I have already started taking pictures of him with a big brother shirt and sign I made him as well as my due date.

For those who have gone on to have a miscarriage after announcing… how do you announce to your family or what do you do with those pictures you have already taken for your announcement?

No one has seen them yet due to the fact I was waiting until I was further along for sending announcements to distant family, but I don’t want to talk to anyone about my miscarriage; I just want to be left alone about it, however, I want people to know so they don’t bring up asking how I’m feeling or congratulating me.

Also, how long before you tried to conceive again and was it a successful pregnancy?
