Are these hives?

I started getting this rash a couple of months ago. I thought It was because I got covid and then I thought it was from a cleaning chemical at my new job. But now I’m thinking it’s my birth control. I have an appointment at the dermatologist till mid august. They look so gross and itch so bad, and I can feel my skin burn and tingle a little where the rash is going to appear. I haven’t really used any new lotions or Anything. I just remember one day I got super anxious and started itching everywhere and the rash appeared for the first time. Ever since then it doesn’t go away. I don’t feel like I’m super stressed out either.
