Having a successful vagina birth after c-section

Hello just wanted to know anyone who’s had a c section or multiple section how long you all waited before getting pregnant again? Weather the pregnancy was healthy and a successful vaginal birth. I had MCDA twin boys via c section at 31 weeks in December 2021 due to my smallest having fetal growth restriction and a blocked bowell which resulted in him having a stoma bag, they are my first babies and partner wants to wait 12 months before trying again but I want to wait atleast 18-24 months if longer as I really want to try and have a successful VBAC and a water birth. I’ve a low transverse cut which is healed up quite nicely. Yet I know I still need to give myself time to heal as I don’t want their to be any complications in my next pregnancy.
