Ok everyone, I need honesty here. Usually I am a great tipper! I worked in the service industry for so long I know better.. anyways

I got my hair done today, full balayage, toner, cut and style. The girl did a wonderful job. Now she rents one of those studio Salons .. the ones where you rent a room for yourself. She works for herself and herself only.. no receptionist, or other stylists.. just her. Anyways when my hair was all said and done she sent me a Zelle request for the total amount $520. I sent over that amount and we said ours goodbyes and I went about my day. When I got home my hubby asked me what the total was and he asked if that included tip, I said I don’t believe so..then he asked how much I tipped and told him I didn’t.. it hit me then that maybe because I assumed she worked alone that the actual cost itself was all going to her..now I am thinking I was wrong. Any helpful advice?
