Any tips?

So I have a one year old that’s still using her pacifier. She cries and throws a big tantrum anytime she doesn’t have it.. any tips on how to get her off of the pacifier?

Just distract during the day and only give at night and naps. My son only had his to sleep from around 18 months. He didn’t get rid of it completely until about a month and half before he turned 3.

I tried taking my sons at one and he was not having it. I tried again at age 2 and it was much easier.

Try the paci that is made for weaning. They each have different levels. That may work. But honestly, just take it and throw it away. Like others have said it will be a few days of crying and screaming but eventually she will stop.

Cold turkey take it. It will be a couple days of tantrums but it will stop just cold turkey it

I used the Frida baby pacifier weaning system. My daughter was the exact same way. We used the Frida baby pacifiers and she was off all pacifiers in just 2 weeks. I thought it was overplayed about working until I did it myself.
