Dilated/effaced

Feeling hopeful that baby girl #3 MIGHT make her debut soon. Had my 36 week checkup yesterday and midwife said she extremely low (had to go around her head) I’m 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced. With my son I wasn’t dilated this much until 39 weeks and I gave birth 3 days after being checked. Baby girl is already measuring 2+ weeks ahead and my midwife is concerned about size; since my son was 9+ lbs when he was born. How everyone else dilation/effaced? Anyone else have positive stories about being dilated/effaced and baby coming earlier than due date?
