Spending time with your partner

Is it odd that my boyfriend refuses to drink with me at all? We both go to the bar but always on separate days . That’s something he enjoys doing at night on his off days and before dating that’s how we became friends and Were both happy drinkers when we do go out but it’s never with me . It’s only with his friends or family. Is that normal for any of you ladies? If so why ? I just can’t wrap my head around why he can go out with everyone else but me. It’s like that at home too where I’ll buy a six pack or wine or make margaritas and he always turns me down and when I ask why he just tells me because he doesn’t want to.
