VBAC Hope…

I had a very traumatic first birth with my daughter it ended in emergency C-section under general A. I’m now 31 weeks with my second pregnancy and praying for a better birth really wanting a VBAC. I had a very positive midwife appointment who gave me confidence to be able to say no to certain medical interventions and ideas. Giving me hope for a water birth. She was amazing and made it so clear that I just need to be clear and consistent with my wishes. I got home however and mentioned everything she told me to my partner and his response was “ I don’t care what they do or give you to get this baby out healthy” really doesn’t feel like he’s gonna vouch on behalf of my wishes when in labour he’ll just agree to anything the doctors say.
