Will I have a 3rd miscarriage?
In January I had a chemical pregnancy I found out I was pregnant and then within days I wasn’t pregnant as my test was negative I was so sad.
I then became pregnant in June, my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks but should of been 8 1/2 weeks. I was so heartbroken. I was 38 years old during these pregnancies.
I do want to mention I have a son who is 2 years old, and my pregnancy was a healthy one with no complications. I was 35 when I was pregnant, and I had my son when I was 36.
I have now just turned 39 and I am scared to try again after 2 miscarriages this year. My husband and I would like another baby but I am afraid that I will miscarry again.
We have sat down to discuss this and want to try again and because of my age I just don’t want to miss my chance to have another baby.
I have had a internal scan and both my ovaries look normal and my doctor has said miscarriage is common and that I can try again on my next cycle.
I am just anxious as I don’t want to go through another miscarriage.
Any advice would be appreciated?
