Had routine bloodwork and a urine test done 2 days ago and just found out I have a UTI caused by Group B Strep i am currently 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I have no signs or symptoms of a UTI so I had no idea. Have any of you ladies dealt with a UTI caused by GBS while pregnant? I will be having a c section so they told me there is no cause to worry about baby unless my water breaks before my scheduled c section. But now I can't help but to worry about that. I guess I'm just looking for someone to relate to and see how things went for them. They say it's really no big deal for me but could potentially be fatal if passed to baby. Please comment if you have tested positive for GBS while pregnant.
