Long distance boyfriend

I am finally going to get to see my long distance boyfriend in a few days (we met at the end of our spring semester and have been getting to know each other through texting and FaceTiming). We’ve never had sex but I really want to. One problem tho, I got my IUD in June and my body is still adjusting. I have been spotting consistently everyday, my July period was 18 days and now I’m 6 days late for my august period so I think it should come any day now?? How do I tell him I don’t want to do anything until my body kinda stabilizes?
