Debating to go to surgery or not

I have a benign mass on top of my tongue that it bothers me. I have it for 20years. My surgeon says I can live with it or without. It’s up to me if I want it remove. I have fee dilemmas.

One, our insurance is only good for 6weeks from now. (We are waiting for my surgeon availability)

Two, I need to be in the hospital for a day or two after surgery depends on how much I bleed.

Three, I have a 9 month old boy that relies on me. My husband works from home. He claims he can take care of my son. But that’s not the case. He does not cook and I am the primary care taker of my baby. He does not like his dad when he is about to sleep.

(We don’t have any help from family as they are all overseas) friends are not option too.

Four, I need to not lift and need 2 weeks of recovery after surgery.

I need help to decide. Because after our insurance expired. We will be paying out of pocket. Husband is stubborn to not get a private insurance after leaving his job. He says he would rather pay out of his pocket. (This is another issue between me and him)

Also, I had a C-section 9months ago that made me crazy. I feel awful with all the meds and general anesthesia. I don’t wanna be like that again butI need another surgery for this one.

If I dismiss this surgery, I’m not sure when will I be able to have it remove because of our insurance and help.

Any kind advice is highly appreciated.

I can wait but then again I have no idea when it will be remove if not now. It just started to bother me like a stinging pain.
