How effective are the dollar store pregnancy test???

Question

AF is due on Oct 5-6 and thought I wanted to test just out of curiosity and there it was a BFN :/ Feel like giving up but luckily I have an appt on Oct 7 with a fertility doctor. Wish me luck ladies, I need some answers already. I've been having unprotected sex for 4 yrs with my husband and nothing has happened naturally (sorry if tmi)!

They all pick up the sane hormone in your wee, they are regulated, they have to be effective. They are just the same as the more expensive ones x

Its too early.  You need to wait til af day to be reliable. If you get a First Response 5-6 days sooner test its possible.  But w most tests 11-12 dpo is usually a faint positive I've noticed.
