Painful Ingrown Fingernail

About a week ago I was picking at my fingernail and a few days later it got like this. I don’t know if it’s an ingrown nail or what, but it’s super painful. I’ve been soaking it in warm water and applying Neosporin. Its been getting better because puss has been coming out and it’s not as painful. I was wondering if anyone knew how to speed up the recovery at home? Any tips is highly appreciated. Thank youuu!!! ☺️
