I didn't mind what the gender was until I did?💔

Question

So I've got a two year old boy who is a daddy's boy. And just found out our second is a boy and I feel awful for saying this but since finding out I've been quiet down. Is this just the initial dissapointment? Will it go away? Will I finally have a mummy's boy? 💔

I have 2 boys, and my eldest is a daddy boy, but my youngest is a massive mummas boy. Like i have to feed him, bath him, get him to sleep, give him a bottle,  and when he cries he runs straight to me (he's 16 months). My eldest (3) goes either way, but his father has to get him to sleep. Im currently pregnant with number 3 and like you im scared to find out the gender because I don't want to be disappointed...it sounds awful admitting it. But at the end of the day, I'll just be happy if baby is born fit and healthy. But there's still that element of worry as this is our last baby we will be having, so last chance to have a girl. I try not to  think much about it, but the thought sneaks in Occasionally

Why not of course you can have a mummy's boy. My second child was a mummy's boy when he was little. Totally possible my friend  has two boys on is fixed an the father the other on the mother.
